The music on Freqmod909808 was made using a minimal setup and some constrictions: each song has 4 components - one bass track, one synth track, one drum track and one track for percussion or texture. All were sequenced on a sampler, then put through a four track tape recorder onto a tape loop in order to form new rhythms and patterns by chance. The songs undergo slowly chaotic recurrences due to their four components metamorphosing as they interact with each other in an almost self-generative way.

QNDFK is an artist & musician from Philadelphia who primarily works with samplers, drum machines & other electronic devices. Their music has been released on Vacuum Press, Patient Sounds, Pearsoll Peak & Fallen Moon Recordings.
