A terrific exploration of resynthesis techniques from Selman, with all the buoyancy and kinetic vigour of an unending pinball game. For 27 minutes the listener is caught between shapeshifting ricochets, whose haptic headfeel evokes everything from squashed sponges to pummelled playground slides. After two shorter tracks that introduce the core variables, an extended third side sends the flippers into overdrive, eternally launching the ball back into the machine, with the number on the LED score display spiralling up into the thousands.
