Three hallucinatory panoramas from Iraq-based artist Moe Ali (aka Detachment 九), in which all shapes are unspooled into woozy vapours or infinite repeats. Drones resembling slow fanfares or organs are hung at the fore, part-veiling the strange figures at the back: muttered voices, bow-scuffed strings, strange electronic arpeggiations, the squeaking of winches. With persistent listening, the ears adjust. The focal point extends. We slip behind the curtain.
